Software Updates and Enhancements
Infor continues to support Point.Man with updates and enhancements to the
software. Listed below are the latest service packs for their respective
Releases. Additionally, Infor provides enhancements
to Point.Man vie their Support Website.
Point.Man Release 9.0d Service Pack 3
Available for customers currently running Release 9.0. This
Service Pack and Release information is for the English language version of the
software only.
INFOR Point.Man Release 9.0 Service Pack 3 can be used to upgrade an existing
Point.Man Release 9.0 (versions 9.0a-c) software installation to version 9.0d.
This Service Pack for Release 9.0 contains several enhancements and files that
were modified as a result of program fixes applied to 9.0 from 12/04/2004 to
12/30/2006
Point.Man Release 8.0f Service Pack 5
Available for customers currently running Release 8.0. This
Service Pack and Release information is for the English language version of the
software only.
Infor Point.Man Release 8.0 Service Pack 5 can be used to upgrade an existing
Point.Man Release 8.0 (versions 8.0a-e) software installation to version 8.0f.
This Service Pack for Release 8.0 contains several enhancements and files that
were modified as a result of program fixes applied to 8.0 from 12/14/2002 to
12/30/2006
Point.Man Release 7.0i Service Pack 8
Available for customers currently running Point.Man Release
7.0. This Service Pack and Release information is for the English language
version of the software only.
Infor Point.Man Release 7.0 Service Pack 8 can be used to upgrade an existing
Point.Man Release 7.0 (versions 7.0a-h) software installation to version 7.0i.
This Service Pack for Release 7.0 contains several enhancements and files that
were modified as a result of program fixes applied to 7.0 from 09/16/2001 to
12/30/2006.
ViewPoint Release 5.0
A new release of ViewPoint is available for ordering,
ViewPoint 5.0. This version is certified through Point.Man 8.0 has over 100
new/revised reports.
This ViewPoint 5.0 CD can be ordered by Infor Point.Man Customers with current
support contracts by opening a new support incident and requesting the CD.
ViewPoint 5.0 will run on Point.Man version 9x on Oracle 8i. If the user is
running 9x on Oracle 10G, it REQUIRES BI/Query 8.5.1.4 or higher because
previous versions will NOT connect to Oracle 10G.
The Service Pack or Viewpoint CD can be ordered by Infor Point.Man Customers with current support contracts by opening a new support
incident and requesting the service pack or CD.
